Akasaganga Waterfalls Tirumala

Akasaganga

A sacred waterfall believed to originate from the feet of Lord Vishnu. The water from here is used for the daily Abhishekam of Srivaru. Bathing here is said to wash away sins.

Papanasam Theertham and Dam Tirumala

Papanasam

Literally meaning 'Destruction of Sins'. This dam site is picturesque and spiritually significant. Pilgrims take a holy dip here to cleanse their karma before Darshan.

Japali Anjaneya Swamy Temple Tirumala Forest

Japali Theertham

Located deep in the forest, this is the shrine of Lord Hanuman. It requires a short trek. It is believed that Lord Rama and Sita stayed here, and Hanuman meditated here.

Silathoranam Natural Stone Arch Tirumala

Silathoranam

A rare geological rock formation (Natural Arch) dating back millions of years. Legend says Lord Venkateswara stepped here first when arriving on Tirumala hills.

Suggested Itinerary

Morning Session (8:00 AM - 12:00 PM)

Start with Akasaganga & Papanasam. The weather is pleasant, and you can enjoy the waterfall surroundings.

Mid-Day (12:00 PM - 2:00 PM)

Visit Silathoranam and the Chakra Theertham complex. Have lunch at the Amenities Complex area.

Afternoon Session (2:00 PM - 5:00 PM)

Trek to Japali Theertham (approx 1km walk). This is best done in daylight. Return for shopping near the main temple.
